@ireallyhatenoobs if u can say that MJ would average 30+ then why not 45? his "career" ave is 30 and with the rules right now u wont be able to touch him. what is 10 more trips to the foul line? he is an 84% FT shooter dont u think he cant get +15 pts from the line alone? 45pts is being modest...BYRON RUSSELL said if MJ played in this era he would average 60! its not the physical that will make u survive the 80's and the 90's... its the mental toughness in which lebron and kobe does not possess.

there are too many variables to compare in analyzing players from different era... too many things things change so it is so difficult to compare players that play in different period of time... rule of the game, quality of training facility, coach, club management, game references (current players have more references than players in the past and players in the future will have even more references than current players), fans support and expectation and many more

@FightingForFreedom23 today's NBA is too weak. No real centers like akeem, robinson, motombo, shaq, ewing, etc etc etc. no real power forwards either. Just bulking up is useless. makes you slow on defense. also, cannot really play defense anymore cuz of handcheck rules & 3 sec rule. Back than MJ had it much much worse with JORDAN RULES, Knicks etc. MJ thank god doesnt play today or else nigga would be averaging 45+ppg every year easily.
