You think $125 a month is cheap and you're still on the hook for "simple doctor visits?" My premiums, which include 85% of my basic dental expenses, are payed for by my union group health plan. Were they not I would be paying $54 per month for complete medical coverage, which includes doctor appointments. This is the reality of universal health care. Canadians have done the math and we most emphatically, by a huge majority, approve of our system.

Have Congress get out of the way of Free Enterprise. Allow Insurance companies to sell in any State they wish. Allow them to sell "Catastrophic Insurance Policies' --they are very cheap $125 a month. They cover Cancer, Blindness, total disability, etc. You pay for simple Doctor visits out of your pocket. Congress gets huge cash from Lawyers---hence, no TORT reform, the main reason Medical bills have skyrocketed.
