Yeah, don't do anything for people, save the money for war.

@jancivil On the contrary it appears only to be your lack of knowledge as to what Buchanan believes. PB was against going into Iraq and is against an excessively large military w 100’s of bases all over the planet. The fact he is against taxpayers funding medical care for middle class children is entirely consistent w his views.
-
all he can do is scream about 'socialism' after being owned (demonstrating her earlier point), GOP has failed time and again to address the issues, such as these children will go to the ER for care. Free for THEM, but is NOT free for the country. We have a program that is shown to work, but Bush needed to cut it to pander to the base, and here's Pat cheerleading his coming home to fiscal conservatism behind the same empty adherence to ideology. You and he FAIL.
-
he conceded the point about Iraq and waste, 'not an economizer' but 'it's good that he starts *now* when the issue is children's health care. That truly exposes his world view, and he did it HIMSELF, without being prodded all that much.
This is the level of thought the conservative mind is capable of. He can't even manage to disguise it.

Proves that Republicans only care about you when you're a fetus.

Maddow dodged the question of why working class people should subsidize the health care of families making 60K - 80K through a tax on cigarettes. Her response was to accuse Buchannan of namecalling and shouting, neither of which he did.
Great job by Pat Buchannan in exposing Maddow's ignorance.

Buchannan definitely schooled that Maddow guy.
My Dad (to me): You do realize that when you move to the UK you'll be paying much higher taxes, right?
My Brother: Yes, but unlike the US, her taxes will actually pay for something useful.

@atomicdogg97 "Great job by Pat Buchannan" Kid yourself all you like, and cherry pick what went on here, but that doen't get you around the fact he conceded the point about Buah's Iraq and waste, 'not an economizer', not a fiscally conservative, but 'it's good that he starts *now*' when the issue is children's health care. Great job at showing his ass, certainly. You've done a fine job yourself at showing how insubstantial conservative 'thinking' really is with your vapid take on this.
