Police corruption is a huge side effect of the war on drugs, huge. No one mentions how police routinely lie in court in order to incarcerate people, dirty drug money, all of it... Police brutality is another side effect. We are specifically targeted as the recipients of both, I mean us as people of color.

knowing obama, someone who has admitted to using drugs when he was younger,wont end prohibition just further pushes me to believe that the drug war is a conspiracy. unfortunately things like that arent changed by voting, at least it doesnt seem that way anymore.

I wish you guys all the best luck in the world with what your doing. I don't live in the US so it may seem that I have no stake in what your doing. However I believe strongly that for the rest of the world to finally have an intelligent stance on drugs America needs to lead the way. It was America that started this war. It has to be America that ends it. Just keep it in mind that you guys have logic on your side. Prohibition can't last in the face of overwhelming evidence.

There are laws against drunk & drugged driving, flying & opperation of dangerous equipment I am all for.
