trying to comment for a long time -- link broken? Your card might be worth hundreds, not thousands. Strip card, issued 1926. Set had 10 baseball players (Ruth #6) + movie stars, tennis players, boxers, aviators.
Blank backs, line drawings instead of photos, poor printing and paper make this set less desirable than others in same era such as W507s from 1922.
Nonetheless, my advise as ex-baseball card dealer is keep the card -- it looks genuine & was issued while Ruth was still playing!
