No... need to watch the rest too. What I am saying is that nothing should be followed blindly. The bible is used as a means to control people... that's why it needs to be "interpreted" and not simply read. There is a huge amount of great things in the bible... but it means nothing if you are not given the freedom to choose what you do with all those great knowledge and ideas.

Should not combine what I am saying with what you already know... keep them seperate till the end of the series.

Genesis 1:1-3 seems to contradict that.

And, did God not "create" Adam from dust, and Eve from his rib? So, he can create an entire species but he cant create an arm or leg? Perhaps the dust and ribs we have today are not as... godly... as they used to be, so God cant use those things any more.

Who said that God and GOD were the same thing? For that matter who said any one view on the subject it right? What makes us so arrogant to assume that we mere humans know God? Just because something is commonly believed for a period of time does make it right, moral, true, or acceptable. Points in question... salvery and domestication of women and children. Both are in the bible... and both are WRONG! Why can other parts be RIGHT... when these are clearly WRONG? Ask yourself!

@poorkinghaggard Did you know God did heal an amputee? In the New Testament when the high priests ear was cut off Jesus healed it and the priest got his ear back. Also, maybe God doesn't answer amputee prayers because it can lead to sinning. hand by touching obviously, and legs walking around being able to go and sin. It's better because it prevents you in a way from sinning.

I'm sorry mindmunchies but this video does not help the cause of making people believe in god. By casting doubt on the one thing that brings them to church (fear of death usually, or guilt), then you create more atheists than converts.

I'm atheist myself, but I find it odd that you'd put this out there.

Re: Q1 so why cant got make our bodies work that way so life will be better for us? he created everything in 6 days, what cant he do this in a finger snap? Re: Q2 god is making the hungry suffer because he is making the government greedy and if he wants them to be greedy then at least help the hungry. Re: Q3 so if thats a lie how do you know the whole bible is not a lie? Re: Q5 again, if god is all powerful and all loving why dose he let his people suffer?
