How To Repair a Bicycle Chain

This is a quick tutorial on repairing bike chains.

The bike that I am doing the repair on looks kind of beat up because it has traveled alot of distance and has seen alot of extreme weather conditions. It has survived through daily use in 3 Canadian winters and this is the first time the chain has failed.

Damn. I'm not a hater, but my chain is interlock.. I need to know what I did because I fixed my chain, but it was too tight and it is having trouble rotating around the sprocket and driver gears. I need to know what I did wrong so that I can bike again!! ): Maybe I need to wiggle it like he said..?

@rerun62696 I don't really understand the problem you are having based on your description, or what you were actually doing to your chain that didn't work. If you make a video showing and explaining the problem and attach it as a video response I would be happy to take a look and see what advice I can offer.
