What makes this clip so sweet is that towards the end you could actually see Steve trying to hold back his emotions when he hears the applause to his comment about how much it meant to him to portray Maxwell Smart.

It's good that he respected Don Adams! Unlike most actors, they would put them selfs over someone else that died and say that they're better. But you can tell that Steve's a good person and doesn't want to copy anyone but just makes it funny in his own way!
