Also, grow up with the genre thing. Pop is Pop. Nirvana is pop. Their album Incesticide, as mathy and nuts as it is, is pop. As mathy, and heavy FoT is, they are pop. Pop music has a lot of basic traits that can be found in every pop song. Elvis was pop. Van Halen was pop. Nirvana was pop. tFot is pop.

@blackorpheliac1 Hi I would like to start off that Norma Jean was around a long time before Botch, plus they went by a different name and had to change because of a Rights to Name of band. To mention that Dillenger and Norma have no direction makes no sense. Please learn more about the bands before you name drop other bands and try to compare them. Oh and FoT is not Pop they are Indi-rock/metal-core

@alvaroock666 No. At the drive in and Mars Volta yes. But everything else no. Fall of Troy was amazing because they are a pop band that truly has fun playing heavy stuff and being creative. The only band that can truly hold up to FOT's standards are A lot Like Birds. TFOT is not a scenester band like Alesana. They were the greatest hard rock band of our time. Dillinger Escape plan is directionless screaming and so is Norma jean (rip -off of Botch). They just pile in guitar parts that sound cool.
