*gasps*
I completely forgot about the bear scene from 'The fox and the hound'. Good god, that used to scare me as a kid!

Tangled was a let down for me. I just kept seeing rehashing of character traits and qualities over and over...AND THE VILLAIN'S SONG SUCKED! USUALLY THAT'S THE BEST PART!

@johanstone Oliver and Company. A brilliant modern-day adaptation of 'Oliver Twist'. :)

The bloody Chipmunks beat Princess and the Frog?! That is completely disgraceful.
As a 2D animation student, I've always loved Keane in particular. His fluidity in his drawings are legendary.

Nice tribute! =)
BTW, just out of curiosity,

@MegaAnimationFan Not really. Though, those two are fantastic animators as well.

I'm not sure about Tangled. I hope it out grosses Yogi Bear, because Yogi Bear looks like shit. (Why, Dan Akroyd, WHY??) However, the trailers for Tangled don't look that good and whenever I see Flynn, I can't help but think of Tulio from The Road to El Dorado.

@jedidarrick Tangled has probably the most mis-leading marketing campaign in history! It's actually anything but a spoof, but rather a sincere musical adaptation of Rapunzel, featuring songs by Alan Menken. It also has an 89% Rotten Tomatoes rating, so the critics seem to love it.

didn't Glen Keane animate Nala ?
LionKingRulezAgain1 1 year ago
@LionKingRulezAgain1 Nope. Adult Nala was animated by Anthony DeRosa and Young Nala was animated by Aaron Blaise. The Lion King and Pocahontas were in production at the same time, so Keane was busily working on the latter.
