Leah Biteolin, Rony Vexelman, and Ana Luiza Tapia, took center stage at the Plenary on Monday, November, 9, 2009. They share their aliyah stories and talk about how Jewish Agency programs put them on the path to success.
I also made Aliyah, but from USA, and the only thing that I heard from the gov't was that I should leave Israel and go back to USA.
This is the biggest problem in Israel, depending on where you are from, the Sacknoot decides to help you or not. The didn't think that helping an American was worthwhile.
Now I am here over 14 yrs, but lived on the street like a dog, when I made Aliyah.
I also had done programs, including being a volunteer for the IDF during the GulfWar
Great video
Thanks
