PLEASE HELP - Sony Vegas Pro 10 Problem

READ PLEASE: I need some help with Sony Vegas Pro 10.
Everytime I click on the desktop icon it doesn't load.
I torrented it by the way, I didn't purchase it. (Who would spend 500 dollars for editing programs anyways?)

This happened after I downloaded an update for Sony Vegas Pro 10 and installed the update. I even uninstalled SVP10 and installed the older version of the program to see if it'll work but it still doesn't run.
If you can help me I would really appreciate it! :)

How to fix: uninstall the program -> delete the folder (C:Program Files/ etc...) -> Delete the "Sony" folders on AppData in local and roaming ( hit windows+r and type %appdata% ) -> type in search: regedit and delete the "Sony Creative" folders inside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (in Software) and inside the Registered Applications at same place, then in HKEY_CURRENT_USER (again in Software) "Sony Creative" folder.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION! Task manager ==> processes ==> Look in the DESCRIPTION for something with IO in it, and end that one!
