Another video of unpackaging music, this time it's not just some silly standard edition CD you can find at your nearest retail store, but....
A limited edition Capitol Records audiophile pressing of 2x 10" vinyl LP of Radiohead's Kid A. (Say that five times fast.)
Just came in the mail a few minutes ago. As those of you who vaguely know Radiohead know, it's probably their best album. Can't wait to take a listen to this.

My friend received one of these in the middle of the night from a strange man who delivered it then disappeared....we live in Australia maybe that had something to do with it.

Probably their best album lol. Oldies like Ok Computer, kids like Kid A. Ok Computer has more guitar work while Kid A is electronic.

Get "Hail to the Thief" on vinyl. It's well-crafted, and it plays at 45 (strange for a 12").

This may sound stupid, but is this still available? I've sadly only just discovered the wonder that is Radiohead. I'm guessing not since it was a limited edition and all. It looks beautiful.

I just want to know for sure that since these are 10" discs, they have to be played at 78 rpm, correct?

No. nononono, not at all. I thought they were 45's when I first got them, but it turned out they were just regular old' 33's. Which means they should work on any record player.

I just got this baby today, I've grown up with CDs and this is my first vinyl I've bought. Amazingly brilliant sleeve and design, I love all of it.

Agreed. I also got the limited edition press of OK:C a few months ago and I can say the same about it. I love all the subtle little packaging details. It's amazing how much craftsmanship went into a single copy.
