@eggfleece Well, do you see the people rising up? Maybe the Occupy movement will bring about change but so far most folks are more interested in their pop idol or (and these two are quite ironic) fear factor or big brother.

a cyborg may be good for the future but i disagree. i cant really figure out whether to classify a cyborg as a living thing cause structure as a metal endoskeleton but turning dead flesh into living tissue seems very challenging

Kevin Warwick is technically brilliant no doubt. But while I believe there could be benefits to his research there is also a dark side. His social, moral and political attitudes are primitive. In his books he talks of cyborgs enslaving humans who don't want to change with a complacency that's chilling.
