PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION, Urdu poem by Allaam iqbal with easy English translation

فلسفہ و مذہب
یہ آفتاب کیا ، یہ سپہرِ بریں ہے کیا !
سمجھا نہیں تسلسلِ شام و سحر کو میں
Philospher is saying , I am unable to understand that, for what reason this sun, high sky, and continuation of days and night is?

اپنے وطن میں ہوں کہ غریب الدیار ہوں
ڈرتا ہوں دیکھ دیکھ کے اس دشت و در کو میں
Am I in my land or am i deported or released from some other world? The huge deserts, homes, grounds, and cities creat fear in me.I don't understand it all!

کُھلتا نہیں مرے سفرِ زندگی کا راز
لاؤں کہاں سے بندۂ صاحب نظر کو میں
I am unable to solve the mystery of my life's journey, I don't know where to find a person with vision. Who can advise me or tell me the secerts of life and universe.
حیراں ہے بو علی کہ میں آیا کہاں سے ہوں
رومی یہ سوچتا ہے کہ جاؤں کدھر کو میں
Bu Ali ( Ibn e Sina) spent his life wondering where I (man) came from, and Rumi ( Mulana Jalal udin Rumi ) is wondering where should I(man) go.( what is future of man?). It's hard for common man to figure it out, weather he should follow philosphy or Religious master.
"جاتا ہوں تھوڑی دور ہر اک راہرو کے ساتھ
پہچانتا نہیں ہوں ابھی راہبر کو میں"
briefly,I (common man ) travel with every trevler , but i(man) don't know who is my true leader. It's hard for common man to figure out, whether he shoud follow philosphy or Religious masters.
