  • This was and will always be one of the most stunning moments in television, in opera, in music, in life, and in the history of one remarkable person's career.

Davvero straordinaria!

  • I had never seen this... I am in tears... enough said.

  • @cubanbach WE MUST KEEP AFTER THEM!!! It is so unfair to the OPERA WORLD and future singers to not be able to watch this incredibly stunning performance!!!!

  • To this day..... I'll never forget this moment. When Price finally relents and drops to her knees, and the crowd wants to cover her in glory, I am reminded of how noble humans can be to each other in those rarest of moments. Beyond beautiful

  • The zoom in on her face at the end of this clip is one of the most powerful things I have ever seen. There is so much emotion in her eyes that it is impossible not to cry.

  • One of the greatest night's in my life at the MET.

  • @trainerstone i dont know if i am doing right or not writing this .. i was just crying moving by this rendition of Price until i read your comment about your son who died in Iraq and i fell down broken in tears ...i was not expecting that.. a deep pain thru my soul.....

  • I don't know how she did it...I don't like crying, especially in front of others, because I pretty much consider it a personal weakness if I do, but I would have started BAWLING if I had been her! She's made me cry countless times, though.

    She was simply wonderful.

  • by sheer luck someone gave me tickets to the gala...a moment I will cherish forever...

  • priceless simply divine such clear and beautiful chills up and dow the entire frame of my body

  • I'm crying at work! You can see in the way she holds and finishes that last note that she's truly saying goodbye. Completely overwhelming. One of the greatest sopranos of all time.
