Original Song:
My first ever video attempt editing cell phone video clips using Windows Movie-Maker over an imported studio WAV file recording (2008) . I find the poor yet enthusiastic lip-sync and guitar-sync performances to be somewhat humorous. It is I you hear playing the guitar tracks, though you wouldn't think so by watching the video, lol! This song was recorded in 2007 before I ever made videos or knew of YouTube. The music was recorded using a Fostex MR-8 digital recorder with a 600 MB memory card of which every last bite was consumed recording this song. Though the video shows a Fender Stratocaster, the 2 guitar tracks in the recording are a Gibson Les Paul SL Humbucker recorded directly into the MR-8 using it's on-board overdrive on full. The reverb on the voices and drums were also on-board the MR-8. The voices were sung directly into the MR-8 built-in condenser mic. The bass was played on a Casio MT-65 portable keyboard. The drum machine used is a Yamaha RX-22. This song was written around the drum program. When I programed the drums, I had only a vague idea of how I would compose the music over it, hence the unconventional form of the song. It was written, recorded, and mixed in an afternoon if I remember correctly. The words I had written a short time earlier but never applied to anything. They were rearranged and compressed in areas to fit.

Great tune I loved it. I like how you tell us exactly how you make your songs. that's cool and youre wild and zany on vid,it's a lot of fun to see, very animated. haha I dig that.
