Charlotte Perelli (formally Nilsson) won the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem for Sweden with "Take Me To Your Heaven"
In 2008 she is participating again in the swedish national final for Eurovision. Her Song's called "Hero".

Not a bad song. Pretty good entry Sweden. It kind of reminds me of ABBA's Waterloo though xD but of course because ABBA are Swedish and I heard that one of the song writers is a member of ABBA too :D

Its so sad Just look at her now and look at her performance 2009 Here she is simply ALIVE and NATURAL it is sad to look at her after this performance But her voice is still AMAISING even after 10 ears! Go Sharlotte!

There's one thing that makes me a little bit sad. After winning she sang the last chorus in Swedish - and it was the last time a Swedish word was heard in this competition. It's 10 years ago. I wonder when we will dare to sing in our own language again.
