This creek runs along the eastern edge of the farm. By the way, I don't consider this creek "flooded" because it isn't overflowing its banks, but nevertheless it IS above normal, and definitely has the attention of me and others who live near it! The remnants of what was once Hurricane Ida moved through the Piedmont of NC overnight between November 10th and 11th 2009 (right around Veterans Day), and dumped over 2 inches of rain, thus bringing the creeks in the area up above their normal levels.
