  • harrys is gulity for war crimes and crimes against humanity. but britain today is not able to see this. shame on your country!

  • @ursus911 Bomber Harris said the truth when he said Germany "sowed the wind". Germany was the pioneer of area bombing and bombing cities and civilians. Having "sowed the wind" Germany was unprepared to "reap the whirlwind" and cried foul as if they had never engaged in such things themselves. You cannot cry blu murder about area bombing, boming of cities and civilians and call the people of other nations who did it murders when your nation did it themselves.

  • @ursus911 Germany set the precedent for area bombing. The first recoded area bombing of a city were Zeppelins flying over Liege in August 1914. The first recorded extended period of area bombing were Zeppelins, G-Planes and R-Planes flying over England from January 1915 to May 1918. The first record time area bombing reduced a city to rubble was by the Luftwaffe in the Spanish Civil War at Guernica and this method was the one the Luftwaffe brought into the Second World War.

  • @ursus911 The friendship between Britain & Prussia ended when Bismarck declared that Britain was Germany's enemy & the Kaiser donated a lot of time & money to building a fleet which sole purpose was to challenge & surpass Britain. Germany was emerging as a major power in Europe in the 1800's but it was a led by a man who known to be hostile to Britain & who actively sought to challenge Britain. What was Britain supposed to do, ignore it? That would not be in Britains best interest.

  • @nickslick75 And I`m sorry to approve, that you seem to be a racist by genes.....

  • @11nytram11 There is a difference between building an Empire ( was Britain allowed to do so ?) and targetting another country. Germany wanted eco power but no war.Prussia was the natural friend of Britain for centuries, why did the british cancel that federation? Bombing civilians was a french speciality the began that already in 1916

( Bombing on Karlsruhe ). Dont believe your propaganda, look what the historians

( britisch NOT germans ) write about the fault for WWI and II.....

  • @11nytram11 Yes, that is my opinion. The british plans began in the late 1880s as they saw a potential enemy in the growing Germany. Britain wanted to destroy Germany as a economical competitor, not realizing Germany would not give in in a short period, thus Britain lost economically the war as well as Russia and France. That has nothing to do with german atrocities in both WWs , which I deeply dissapprove. There were no plans at all to conquer Britain by Germany before 1914.....

  • @ursus911 Dont try to paint Germany as the poor suffering victim. The Kaiser targetted Britain as his enemy & sought to build his own empire. The Germans were every bit as culpable for WW1 as either the Austro-Hungarians, the French, the Russian or the British. Hitler's expanisism was even more to blame for WW2 than the Treaty of Versailles (the terms of which were being relaxed in the 1930 by Britain and France)& Germany set the precident for bombing civilians long before anyone else.

  • @ursus911 WW2 was caused by the failure of the Entente to come up with a more reasonable treaty to end WW1 and by Hitler and the Nazis' dreams of Continental conquest. Britain could not compete with a continental power on its own due to the vast majority of its manpower being in its navy but it fought from 1939 to 1945, and lost a considerable amount of manpower in the effort. That the Soviets were involved in the bigger battles does not mean that Britain did nothing.

  • @ursus911 Are you seriously suggesting that Britain caused both World Wars then let others suffer the casualties while they did nothing?

Why WW1 was caused is a very confusing affair but no one country is to blame. In that War Britain fought side by side with the French and suffered a similar percentage of KIA. France last more people becuase the battlefield was France but to even imply that Britain did not do its fair share in that war is deeply insulting.
