Sent from the city to investigate the murder of a teenage girl in a small Alaska town, a police detective accidentally shoots his own partner while trying to apprehend a suspect. Instead of admitting his guilt, the detective is given an unexpected alibi, but this "solution" only multiplies the emotional complexity and guilt over his partner's death.

He's also still got a murder to solve, in addition to the blackmail and framing of an innocent bystander being orchestrated by the man they were chasing. There's also a local detective who is conducting her own personal investigation... of his partner's death. Will it all come crashing down on him?

Theres nothing wrong with phones. Just a general observation.

    Nolan is a great director!

  • It might mean nothing, but do you notice that Christopher Nolan likes to incorporate phones into his movies a lot?

"Memento" had the main character talking on phone discussing his condition, based on the trailer for this it sounds like there's an important phone conversation, "Inception" had the lock code told via phone and in "The Dark Knight" the Joker wanted his phone call. I haven't seen all his movies so I don't know if the rest have phones.

That said I love his movies and there's nothin

  • @haleyteddy03 I agree. The first time I saw it, I thought that the middle part was really boring. But now I like it a lot. The best part of the film might be the interrogation scene when Dormer gives Finch a hard time.

  • Comedians have the darkest dark side of all.

  • Gerade gesehen. Sehr gut!

  • "Don't worry Will, you can sleep when your dead", spoken like an academy award winning actor.

  • @bustaphatty Why do you say Robin Williams is so gay? I'm curious your reasoning behind this statement.

  • @missyadams In my opinion his better in 'One Hour Photo'' where he is REALLY creepy

  • This is a movie that gets better the more you see it. So if you don't like it the first time, give it another try.

  • when the voice over was describing the killer i felt as if it was descibing Nolan
