Well their is this character sorta similar to Akira hime except she is more a half cat half human and a swordsman who look like Kyosuke and Excellen.

Kagura Nambu(swordsman) is from what i heard is supposed to be Zengar as she calls her self the sword that cleaves evil.

from screeshots its been proven that at least excellen will be in it, not sure if she actually joins you or if you just get to use her once or something though.

as for Kyosuke it is likely that he will appear.

technically they are, basically the 2 new main characters are inspired by them except they switched their sex, (from what i was told) so basically the man is supposed to be somewhat like excellen, and the girl like Kyosuke, but dont forget that we already have our excellen/kyosuke clones with Reiji and Xiaomu :P

Yes, from playing through OGs and OG Gaiden, several things indicate that Ashen is W07, who got separated from the main group and disappeared when Shadow Mirror first teleported from their world to the OG world.

Axel mentioned code Dust to Dust which was only installed on two of the W series: W07 and W17.

If I remember correctly, Lemon said the plan to teleport to other worlds using the Aguieus system was called "Project EF" where EF stands for Endless Frontier.
