Is it just me or is the car in the video a '68 Plymouth GTX/Belvedere? Wonder what happened to that car - I hope it was either restored or preserved and not recycled into some worthless household appliance.

@haysiefantasie, I'm the world's most rabid US-born REM fan. And I hugely respect and dig KRS-One. But something about this song just... Well, anyway, I always asked my UK friends to explain the word 'naff' to me, and they never quite could to my satisfaction. But you've just given me my little epiphany. Thanks! (And to prove that won't tarnish my REM-love, my husband and I danced to Shiny Happy People at our wedding, even though Peter Buck called that song "a mistake." Hee.)
