How would you animate the treads on the tank?

A good tut, but the treads are not animated. Only the initial tread is animated.....and if you lasso the first tread you'll find that it is actually several treads atop each other. They're treads 1, 2, and 81. Even if you 'snapshot' only 10 treads, that intial tread will wil always have 1 or more hidden treads atop itself. A good book, but this tut (in the book) was a bit frustrating.

Hi, sorry, been out of comission for the last few days.
Regarding your request for the reference images, I got them from a cd which came with the book called 3ds Max 9 for Beginners by Dariush Derakhshani.
I believe its a good book, so if you can find it at the library or elsewhere, please check it out, I've learned quite a lot from it, and find the instructions and the book in general to be quite good.
