You don't even know how freakin' loud that is. It used to be that 5 RR engines would be roarding down the river side by side. You couldn't even hear yourself think.

@powerbyisotov Sorry mate! It's got everything to do with Rolls Royce. It's designed by Rolls Royce and is based on a Rolls Royce Merlin engine. It only happened that when push came to shove it was mass produced by Rover. See what Google has to say about it under "rolls royce" +meteor

Hi friends. Has absolutely nothing to do with RR, this is a Rover Meteor. Typical Centurion tank engine. Got some of them myselves, and it´s a great sound.

My apologies, your correct. I was looking at Merlins at the time and it must have stuck in my head. It is in fact a 27litre Rolls Royce Meteor with 4 Carter competition 750cfm carbs. I will try and correct the Title.
