Aw! He is so precious! I felt so sorry for him; seeing the poor baby on all those tubes and machines just about made me cry. Clearly, he's a fighter though. I hope he is home now and has a clean bill of health. Peace be with you.

GOD BLESS HIM, YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! My Friends son was born with E Coli meningitis was your baby? If so how is he doing now? Even if he wasn't how is he doing now? If he was born with E Coli Meninigitis cold you please share your story so I can pass it on to my friend. Her son is good now for the most part but lately he has been getting sick every other week and she wants to talk to someone she can relate too! Thanks and God Bless! He's beautiful! <3

Hi Angelique,
Thank you so much for your comment. Not only was Fen born with E-Coli, he also contracted strep pneumo bacteria AND aspirated blood and meconium. He went into severe septic shock and respiratory distress--a quadruple whammy--his oxygen sats wouldn't raise above 50%, so he was transferred again to Cook Childrens to be placed on ECMO, which most babies don't live beyond their first bday and those who do have severe mental retardation.

He was given virtually no chance of living by the doctors, but overcame all of it--with NO developmental delays of any kind. He's two now and as smart as can be! Let you friend know that it takes a while to get over the trauma, but every 6 months I notice a huge difference in my peace of mind. Tell her to email me if wants. We're writing a book right now to share our story and others that is in the editing stages right now. Pass on my love and hope

I didn't see any leads on his chest.
Is he off his monitors in this video?
He's cute.

thank you!
and he's doing great now!
the leads are under him on his tummy. he was on monitors until we went home. they he still had to have his oxygen sats, blood pressure, and heart rate monitored here and for his whole stay. they had to put him on his stomach for the first 12 hours when they took him off the vent because it's less stressful to breathe with his injured lungs.

were you the one who asked if it was hard to see him on the oscillator in the other video? if so, i accidentally deleted your comment but still responded.
