Ativa Mini HD Test Video

Testing out my Ativa Mini HD from Office Depot

I apologize for the fast panning! I didn't realize I was going so fast. This camcorder is VERY light.

I like the camera. Like other HD camcorders out at this time (12/2009), it does not do well in low-light conditions. For $90, it's amazing - esp outdoors or places with good lighting. It comes with the proper cables and even has a small flash included. It does not help very much and will not "light-up" a room, but it does work well for close objects/macro mode. It also has a carrying pouch and I like the fact that it comes with rechargeable battery/charger. You can charge it via USB or AC. Had 4x digital zoom only on certain video modes. The digital zoom does not work in 1080p. There is no optical zoom. The stabilization is not great.

How did you get your video looking so good? The videos I take with my camera(Of the same type) are taken in 1080p, but they look real grainy. I tried to upload one to YouTube, hoping it'd look better, but the video was only in 360 and 480, and looked really bad. Halp?

@MudchopX lighting makes a big difference. my videos come out grainy in low-light conditions.

i believe this was in 720p with stabilization.

How did you get yours looking so good? The ones I take look really grainy, and the only "HD" thing about them is the resolution is 1440x1080. Halp?
