HOW My Computer Works: Online Safety (Part 1)!
Matt B (our Tech Trainer) has created a very important and informative video in the "HOW My Computer Works" series called "Online Safety (Part 1)". The video is just under six minutes long and provides some great advice and tips for staying safe on the Internet! SECURITY: How To Choose and Remember Great Passwords
In keeping with the latest entry in our HOW My Computer Works series, it is extremely important to choose non-predictable, strong, hard-to-guess passwords. There are many risks involved with having an easy password such as your dog's name or your nickname in high school. Identity theft and credit card fraud are among the major risks, so a strong password is absolutely essential these days. The good news is that it can be very easy to choose a strong password. Mozilla, the folks who make the Firefox browser, have created a video showing an easy way to choose an excellent password for each site you visit.
