  • Jedmon01, as in all the videos, I explain each person is completely different. They told me 6 weeks in a splint, but it ended up being 12. I am so glad your wife is doing well.

Shazzqsong, talk to your surgeon & dr in advance about pain treatment. I was given percocet, did not take much. Went to vicodin soon. But I did try to stop the pain before it started so I wouldn't flare totally out of control in my whole body like in the past. When they say take very 4 hours, do that the first few days.

  • what if you hit someone with it?

    like in a fight?

  • Im not the one to troll but god damn this bitch is ugly

  • I may have surgery to lengthen one of my fingers which will involve gradual lengthening of the bone with a metal fixture and then wearing a splint afterwards. Im absolutely dreading it. Was there a lot of pain ?

  • It is three months since my wifes surgery and her life is back to normal. She has thrown me out of the kitchen, ( thank God ), and is doing all the normal jobs around the house. The only restriction at the moment is liflting heavy weights. She wears the splint at night.

  • If your living in the UK please don't take too much notice of this video. My wife had 4 new joints 4 weeks ago at Huffield Hospital by Mr Sood. She has one simple splint which she wore 24 hours for the first 4 weeks. She now only wears it at night. Her exercises consist of removing the plastic splint each hour and doing a 2 minute exercise. She now has no splint during the day only for protection at night. She wears a foam sling for protection when out.
