  • The board is not wide enough. Some balls hit the side, and so you should get some peaks in the wrong places.

  • Good point :) I am trying to find a balance of appropriate horizontal & vertical pin numbers but where the board is a 'travel' size (no bigger than the video above). Any ideas jelleoelle? (smile). I am actually soliciting community youth projects to build one for me, but thank you for any ideas (even on construction materials. Take good care.

  • Yours looks much better than what I made.

    It does help to angle the board back to about a 30 degree angle, to reduce the rebound effect.

    As noted above, if you are using 15 rows the bottom row needs to be wider, so there are 16 pins (following Pascal's triangle).

    For your goal of a traveler model reduce your current model to 5 rows, since you have a maximum 8 pins across, and start with 3 pins. Use a funnel to be sure the balls impact the center pin on your first row.
