Phillips Collection at Washington: Soutine, Van Gogh, Chagall, Cezanne, Picasso, Braque in distance. Each work here is great; the Mont Sainte Victoire of Cezanne impresses me the most. Also, The Road Menders by Van Gogh, with his subtle focus on the background characters which come to the front while the workers themselves remian just barely figured.
This video is dedicated to a good friend from Montreal: artist Ion Vincent Danu, a great lover of Soutine and Van Gogh.
