Sarah cleared her throat and turned her head away from Nick. He was about to speak up when...
somebody had placed their hand on the table.
???:W..Well..Well..W..W.ell..Looks who's..hhere...
She was totally drunk. Her breath smelled of liquor, she couldn't stand straight, and she looked terrible.
Nick: What do you want?
???:You..with m..me
Nick: No.
Sarah: Bitch, walk away.
???:Nobody talks to...w..who am I?
Sarah: Bitch
???:Nobody talks to Bitchh like...thatt.
Nick laughed a little, then returned to his previous state of seriousness.
Nick: Miley...go away!
Miley:No! I WANT YOU BACK!
Nick: But I'm over there.
Nick pointed toward the door.
Miley: Oh! Sorry, I'll go find you!
She turned around to leave, but she collapsed on the ground. Everybody rushed to her. A mystery guy pushed his way to her side.
Guy: Get off my girl.
He picked her up and ran to his car. They assumed he took her home.
Nick and Sarah exchanged looks and then began to laugh a little. The other saw them.
Johanna: What a Kodak moment!!
The other 3 stared at her.
Johanna: Whaat???
Joe: You're so cute!
She blushed and kissed his cheek.
-(At the table with Nick and Sarah)-
There was an awkward silence between them. Nick carefully studied her facial expression. She looked worried. Was it his fault? Was it something else? Just then, Sarah looked up at him.
Sarah: I'm sorry I disappointed you! I didn't mean for it to go that far! It was all my fault and you deserve so much better! I could have ruined your life, and I didn't even take that into consideration. Thank God, Kevin was there! I'm so sorry!
With that, she ran to the restroom. She had been screaming her apology, so at this point in time, everybody's eyes followed Sarah, then quickly flew back to Nick. Johanna and Melissa ran to the restroom to comfort her, while Joe and Kevin walked over to Nick.
Joe: Sorry, buddy.
Nick could only nod, because if he spoke, tears would be released from his eyes. He had to get away. He got up threw the napkin that was once in his lap, onto the table and ran out into the night. His feet just carried him away. He didn't know, nor did he care where he was going. After about a minute of running, he stopped dead in his tracks and turned around. What was he doing? Running from his fears? not Nicholas Jerry Jonas. He ran straight back to the resteraunt and burst through the doors and ran to the outside of the women's restroom. Everybody turned in his direction. Joe ran over to him.
Joe: Dude...
Nick: Not now!
Joe: But, Nick...
Nick: Joe!
Joe: THEY LEFT!!!
Nick: What?
Joe: They went home. They said Sarah was so ashamed, that she is moving with her parents to Canada. (AN: Yeah, I didn't tell you this, but the parents moved to Canada! sorry.)
Nick's face dropped. He started running...again. But this time, he wasn't running away, he was facing his fears. He stopped at the door, and banged on it.
Johanna opened it and looked annoyed.
Johanna: Yes?
Nick: (Out of breath)Is...Sarah...still...here?
Johanna: Leave her alone.
Nick: Let me...talk to her...PLEASE!
He begged and pleaded with his eyes.
Johanna: Be gentle.
She moved out of the way and Nick raced up the stairs. He ran to her room and stopped. He took a few deep breaths, and opened the door while lightly knocking.
Nick: Sarah...
She spun around with a tear-strained face. She quickly wiped them off so he wouldn't see, but he did.
Sarah: Nick...I
Nick put his finger upon her lips.
Nick: Let me say something. Look, it takes two to kiss. It takes two to have sex...or almost have sex. If it took the two of us, then nobody is at fault. We both were willing to give up our virginity. We got caught up in the moment. I have hurt you way too much, but I don't think you should move. Why would you want to run away from your problems, instead of facing them to solve them?
Sarah broke down into tear and pulled Nick into a tight hug.
Sarah: (whispered) I love you.
Nick ran his hand up and down her back.
Nick: (whispered back) I love you, too.
Nick pecked her on the lips, and they embraced again. When they let go, they heard a 'SMASH!' at Sarah's window. It was a large rock that had the words "I'll get him, bitch!" printed on it. Just then, they heard something climb up the side of the wall. They expected to see Miley's face, but it she wasn't alone. The girl with her was another angry ex. Aj. Aj had a knife that was visible even though she tried to hide it.
Aj: Where's Joe?!
Just then they heard another scream from downstairs, and Miley and Aj both shared satisfyed looks.
Nick pushed Sarah behind him and stood his ground. He was afraid of what to do next.
