@ferngullyful It's funny that this has been brought up because around ten years ago Sela did a documentary entitled "The Changing Face of Beauty" which dealt with aging. She was passed over for a role in "Goldeneye" I believe because the director wanted Sela Ward but Sela Ward circa early eighties.
I pretty much agree with your statement though and to that point one of Sela's contemporaries Brooke Shields has come out and said that she wishes she had the face she had decades ago.

oh please she is absolutely gorgeous in this commercial. She's still really pretty but NO ONE looks better their 40's or 50's than they do in their 20's. don't be dumb.

omg what year is this? looks like early 80's. yes i agree, she got better looking with age. not that she isnt pretty here, but i just prefer her as the sexy older woman.

One of the biggest differences Sela likes to point out is how much her speaking voice has changed. She took lots of lessons back in those days. This is circa 1979, btw.

I agree with the other posters....she looks better as she ages. She is better looking now than in this ad.
