Was surfin' the web and come across a few websites for Teardrop Trailers. After much reading and thumbnail pictures, decided to build one for myself. No plans... just bought a trailer and started building. Pulls easy behind the Tercel. Turns heads everywhere we go!! We love it!! A little 4 x 8 for less than $1000. Always ready to go!! Thanks for looking!! Enjoy!!

  • Thank you... but it wasn't without a few errors! Had to refigure things as I went along! But it all came together in the end! Now I'm a happy camper! (o:

  • Looks great! I almost have mine done. Just have to get the galley and sleeping cabin cupboards installed and the bumper put on. Really looking forward to seeing the reaction of folks here on the East Coast of Canada. There are a few around here but not many!

  • @julesap66 Oh man!! That's great!! I sure hope you'll add some pictures for us to check out when you're done! There might be a few around where you live... but yours will be one-of-a-kind, and something to be proud of I'm sure!! Can't wait to see what you've done! Happy campin'!!

  • Did you use a plan, or just build-and-plan?

  • @joshuaacrosby - I began by searching the internet and looking at what other people had built. I used to build boats for a living, and when I saw these... I thought to myself, "I can make one of these!" So I bought the trailer and started building without plans. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, so it went together rather quickly. If you are handy with tools, there is plenty of help on the net to get the job done. If you are a first timer... plans will help. Thanks for checking us out!

  • nice job these are fun to build and they get more attention than huge motor coach we made ours out of a bunch of scrap i get from work and an old frame a friend gave us

  • @bentstraight , yes sir!! They are sure fun!! Last park we were in... we were surrounded by huge travel trailers, and motor coaches (buses). There we were, in our little po-dunk trailer havin a ball, and all sorts of people come over to take a look. For a bunch of scrap... your trailer sure turned out well! Good job.
