You seem to be happy, good for you, but that's certainly not the case for everyone here. How about being treated like an actual person instead of a "diamond" or any other type of rock? Crazy concept, huh? Anyway, I have not met a woman who gets treated like a diamond, but I've heard that phrase many times before. Good question ... I'm not sure about the answer to this. I have a feeling that it's common for people in NZ to pronounce woman and women the same way (like woman). But some people think this is wrong.
