In an experiment to see what would happen if cola was allowed to act upon the actual aluminum can it came in, devoid of its plastic liner, frankd20 of CR4 set to work removing the liners. Although it only took one week for the first can to spring a leak, mold growth halted the experiment, but not before he decided to pick up the pace by using muriatic acid and then filming it.

The can to the far right is the control can (it still has it's liner).

  • What concentration was used for this especially in terms of pH compared to the normal life robbing phosphoric acid (not to mention HFCS or Aspartame)?
