Love this film. Always been a fan since watching on TV back in the 70's. Carol Lynly is amazing. This is also one of the best scores for a film ever! It's brilliant!

as a child i saw this film, and found the music haunting and back then very contemporary and stylish for its time, the film has many errie moments, though the climax was a little of a let down it still stuck in my mind and was so different from the usual hammer, amicus and AIP out put i was use to seeing then, however, it was for a long while shown sooo many times on TV i grew tired of it and avoided it for many years, now after a long rest i can rediscover it and as an adult enjoy it again.

One of the best title scores ever.

I guess that sax playing of the sound track is Evan Parker.

as a child i watched thius movie and never really fully enjoyed ( i was very much into hammer gothic, which this was not) it also unsettled me but never really knew why, now im older i find it much more interesting, the rape and sex plot makes sense and the music is so haunting, i would enjoy it now, maybe because the BBC screened so regularly at one point and i couldnt grasp the film in my mind then i tired of it,,,,i will have to watch it again now it has been several years.

Yeah, great music, no doubt about that. Who's playing the Saxes here - they're amazing!
He has my sincerest thanks for making such wonderful music, especially for one of my favorite horror films.
