She's been doing a variety of exercises to get her to use her back legs properly with the cart. Now we have our first good day with the cart, and a training lead
Cart is by Eddie's Wheels of Shelburne Falls, MA.
Training routine is 30 minutes with the trainers every other day (they specialize in disabled dogs, which helped us all with our confidence that this would work for Daisy)
on off days, we're taking her on short walks, working with her to get her back legs to alternate when walking (she previously would use her front legs as skis and snowmobile along, thrusting with her back legs together)

Daisy, you're my new hero. I look at how far you've come in such a short time since this video. You are pawmazing. Five stars to you, my friend!

How wonderful to see * La Princesse* in her chariot! I feel quite exhausted watching her heroic efforts! As any notable 'Whip' will affirm - learning to handle the reins in good form takes a great deal of practice. Miss B would love one of these( deplorable slug that she is ) she disdains to walk: prefering to be born aloft by a powdered flunkey!
Greetings from the Planet Pug!
