I received my Alesis Andromeda A6 a week ago, and managed to take some photos.

The music played is mine and it is called "Children of the Night"

The first 2 minutes made with Yamaha Motif Es6 and Waldorf Blofeld.

The rest is 100% andromeda. The reverb is Ableton live 7.

I hope you enjoy the track.

  • Όπως πάντα ατμοσφαιρικός. Πολύ καλή σύνθεση !!!

  • @UnderGroundHellas ευχαριστώ πολύ Αντώνη

  • Motif and Andromeda go very well together I really like your track.... Been thinking about buying a workstation friend for my Andromeda to do 'all the other stuff'. Have you checked out Kronos at all?

  • @TheZombieHolocaust I am drooling over it as we speak, but alas , got no more money to spare. There is no doubt KRONOS is huge in capabilities, the only thing it concerns me is how immediate it is . What I love about motif is that I can in 1 second start creating music , its that immediate , like Andromeda. And because I love to make music in one go , real time, I hope that KRONOS can be as immediate and easy to use. IF it is , then its a matter of time for me to buy it.

  • This synth looks brain achingly complicated to use. This is a very atmospheric and beautiful piece which could easily be used as an opening theme for one of those dramas like Wallender or Silent Witness!

  • Very nice. I love this ambient sound. Video was nice. Might work on matching it with some different pictures for visual effect. Music was great!

  • Very moving and the piano sound is a nice touch

  • @TheZombieHolocaust KRONOS shite sequencer? I think not. Never heard of KARMA ? You can do some insane things with it that could easily fill book about it. Motif is not perfect either, many people have been complaining about the interface, it can be abit confusing at time, but then whos perfect right ? But as I said never tried KRONOS in person. But then I have no issues sticking with my yamaha, bottom line is that you fully exploit the synths you got and not treat them only as preset machines.

  • @thekilon yea Ive been look through so many synths to complete the picture after getting my A6 - I am so covered for analog sounds that I eventually thought a workstation for the rest. LOVE the Oasys HD-1 sounds so was thinking of Kronos as the next generation Oasys but with better pianos. Ive been looking into the Kronos apparently it has a shite sequencer unlike Motif -Im still going to demo a Motif, I love the realism in their acoustic sounds plus the motif is like you said so immediate.
