Smash Bros Brawl Disc Problems

**ATTEMPT 3 IS THE BEST**

Here are three recordings of the noises my Wii makes when attempting to run a backup of Super Smash Bros Brawl, JAP version. I've tried the DVD5 (single layer) version and that runs fine. I'm running it on a YAOSM 3.0 Final, if that matters.

Anyway, these are the noises I get whenever I put the dual-layer disc in. All other discs, both originals and backups, work.

I've read somewhere that 'three TOCKing noises' means your Wii's got a dirty laser and you need to clean it. Anybody who's had this, could you shed any light on it? Are these the noises you hear/d?

And assuming this is a dirty laser: what's the best proper way to fix it without breaking the Wii? I have opened the Wii before and I have the tools to do so again, but if possible I'd much rather not open the thing up since I've had to do that several times already and it's not a pretty job.

Any help is much appreciated!

One last thing: this video is NOT for discussion of piracy or why I should buy the game. Firstly, if this is a defective laser, it would have happened on a legal or illegal copy. Secondly, I live in Europe and for personal reasons I can't wait as long as it will for the game to come out- I have a friend who is moving to Canada and we really want to play this game before he goes. We can't do the Emissary without the full DVD9 rip.

this is my problem, i put in a gamecube disc, it works fine, any wii games i put in, "unable to read discs

hy just go online and check for problem with super smash brother .disc error message et.. the smbb game has two layers so a dirty lends will just wont read it go online and contact nintendo they are doing repairs for this ..aw forfot you have to send the game in its case and the wii for repair im about to do that good luck  ps . metroid m other and a zelda game has the same problem

What i don't get is that my Brawl doesn't work on my wii but if i put it in a different wii it works just fine. When i put other games in my wii its alright. just brawl doesnt work. Can someone help me?
