@chicogotgreen Not here in the U.S. The x-bow beat the Atoms' lap times at VIR in two competitions, both of which by fairly large margins. Car and Driver did the test, I believe, and it was their lightning lap for either '09 or '10

What a wonderfully nutty car! There was a green one at the pub I had lunch at today. The whole beer garden stopped and stared when he drove off. It sounded superb too. It's supposed to be completely different to the Atom to drive. I've driven an Atom 300, and while it was incredible, it was like dicing with a knife edge of death. Utterly absorbing though and it'd be the one I'd have for that reason. However, I do love them both. you've got to love manufacturers of crazy cars like these.

@DvDPlaya Yaaaah, your crazy. Or just stupid. Look at every statistic to assess performance possible. Lap times, 0-60, hp per pound..... Ariel atom wins in every category. And thats not even considering the ariel atom 500. Yaaaah, a car that already smokes the KTM plus a 500 horsepower, small displacement, light weight, supercharged V8? can you say utter destruction?

It was 4sec slower than the Atom...1:19.5 vs 1:23.10 + the Atom look way nicer, weigh less, faster 0-60, higher topspeed and cost less, 43409£ vs 51054£ and thats the 300 version of the Atom.

Anything to add...?
