what were the GT500 mods? I have an 08 sti that put down 295/310 on a Mustang dyno and from 40 to 120 I put about 3 lengths on a stock GT500 with a competent driver.

Thats not what he was referring to, he was referring to a different race where the GT500 lost to a SC Shelby GT. The STi had beaten that GT by 2 cars.
Turns out the GT500 had his A/C on during the race with the GT and didn't know haha
