Kim really likes it, too. From the other room she thought I was listening to Gipsy Kings!! What a compliment!!
She likes the two sections but suggests that the slower opening be shorter and then go into the fast part (which was her favorite!)
All in all, four thumbs up!!

Part Two:
I got used to the upbeat one and liked that one, too and then suddenly it slowed down again back to the feel of the original.
Personally I think each one of them should be developed into two different tunes - or else the transition needs to be smoother.
Also I'd like to hear a "lighter" bass ... perhaps more movement or if you want to keep it the same, I think it needs to be voiced differently in the keyboard - it just sounds clunky compared to wonderful, flowing melody line.

Wow - you've got a lot of music inside of you, John!
I really like this one A LOT but to me it's two different songs.
The way it started was awesome ... I was really enjoying it - especially liked the woodwind melody line that was added. Then all of a sudden it changed.
The transition to the more upbeat melody was sudden and awkward - didn't really flow from the previous music.
