i just learned this when i went to Rome to study....I was doing the same thing....try your best to add vibrancy to every note, not just to the end of the notes. I had this problem because of doing musical theatre. pretty voice :)

You have such a pretty sound. Just be careful of spreading your mouth wide instead of long. Like when you sing the word "back". Very nice high notes!!!
