  • Can you plug your own mic into it?

  • @MrPavanSingh no. it only has a small piezo mic built into the LCD screen.

  • @mcphee1969 hello sir by doubt you probably have wread my other comment

but i would just like to say I LOVE THIS CAMERA i trusted kogan even though the speaker on the kogan TV we bought was crap this camera is quite good all these nay sayers are stupid plus mr caps u have a lemon buy a different one instead of shitting all over the comments section

but mr mcphee i like this camera and if you were payed or not payed to make this review i don't care this review is honest

    and 1 more thing: nice

  • @coolretrogames yup. some people just love complaining about every little thing. It's a cheap camera, does a good job and... yeah, it's cheap. if you want better quality buy a more expensive camera.

    thanks for your input.

  • Hey mate can fish eye lenses fit on it?

  • @MoonyFilms there doesn't appear top be a thread on the lens itself so the quick answer is no. however, since it's a cheap cam it wouldn't be that big a deal to gaffe tape it on. That would work fine. just gotta think of what diameter the lens is. A quick measure suggests its around 37mm. I don't know if thats a standard size but it looks like it to me.

  • all the reviews i've seen of the kogan video cameras is of this type of camera this is a good lesson in consumerism just because something is more expensive doesn't mean it's better the kogan i got for christmas is the cheaper one and it actually is better than the one shown in the video

  • @mcphee1969 what problems can u explain it.thanx

  • Kogan = Bogan

  • @sofruity1 Japanese made technology is years better.

  • @GanEdenAustralia how is it chinese crap. so you are stating the iphone, ipod, imacs, cameras, smartphones, computers etc are all chinese crap

  • @sofruity1 unfortunately not. it's just the simple internal one.

  • @GCadwalladerMakeup it's pretty good. low light will have some problems though

  • does it foucus well???

  • @mcphee1969 macs will still read .avi quite will, actually....

  • does it have a microphone input for an external mic?

  • @Chrisstoreycitroen christ! lighten up fool. i've had good experiences with this and other kogan products. i can't stand these caps-on-bleeting morons who have to dump shit on everything they do. if you don't like something, get a refund and stop your whining! and while you're at it, learn how to use your caps lock button. it's the little rectangular one just above your left shift key.

  • @GanEdenAustralia - well, it fills part of the market. besides, have you used it yet?

  • @robtheskaterpoop its a process. you have to do a conversion from the avi file to something more mac friendly. check you app store for a good cheap convertor or use toast 9 or better.

  • These a cheap Chinese crap.

  • Stick with Japanese made camcorders!

  • I have a KOGAN video camera, I'm all ready to record a special school event, I make sure the battery is charged to record it, away I go only to be let down by the camera , it shows the battery as fully charged then all of a sudden it comes up with low battery and shuts down, OK no worries I charged a second battery just incase, the bloody same thing happen, thanks KOGAN not only do you rip people off with your crap electronics you also ruin family events where it would be nice to record but no

  • those cams r legendary all u noobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from one of the kids who was in the movie

    hi mr mcphee

  • Kogan HD Camcoders are the worst anyone could buy. Don't be mislead they do not work like they should if you want to pay this muc for a cheap camera buy something for $70 at Target and not this crap, trust me!

  • OMG don't buy this crap please buy something from Harvey Norman trust me you will get something better even if you pay a few more dollars, this is crap at it's best don't believe what you see. OMG how much did Kogan pay this guy to say this crap! Don't believe it for a moment, Kogan stuff is over rated crap that is just as I said CRAP! YES CRAP! THAT I HAVE BOUGHT AND KNOW!
