obv since hes been taught methods for pushing with his head and chest voice without belting, but still under his actual full range "which is that awesome gritty sound you hear every time he dips into it on his good days, its also that overwhelmingly strong scratch and cat sound u hear on his bad days" but recently hes definitely got range back, not his full voice, but his range is there
lol it will never be back to normal, he completely lost his original voice, The "Chris Cornell" was originally known for sumthin called vocal belting, which isnt very unique, unless like him u could do it all the way from a tenor to the highest notes ive ever heard, when he lost his chest falshetto mix, he relied completely on belting"96 to 2002 maybe, until he sounded like shit,
His voice has improved a fuckload!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
I heard that MSN performance and was dissapointed and now you can tell he's hitting those high notes again!!! His voice is starting to clear up. The raspiness is fading out.
Another year or two and it'll be back to normal. (that's if he takes care of his voice and doesn't overstrain those cords).
Omfg! Sounding even BETTER than the original (except for not hitting the last insane high note). He's got the Superunknown quality mixed in some remnants of the audioslave trashy voice. Top!

Now Matt Cameron is stablished in Pearl Jam... so, a reunion of Soundgarden could be kind of difficult... don't you think?

Thank you for clearing up the audio! I could hardly make out his voice in the other one because it was so messed up. He sounds amazing here!
