  • Greeks weren't even united then, they were just individual states. The reason Persians attacked wasn't because they wanted slaves. a Greek state burnt another Greek city called Sardis which was under Persian rule. you do the math. You'll never see a movie where they show drunk Alexander burning Persiapolis as his soldiers raped left & right. A movie where Athenians sent their riches towards egypt but landed on Persian lands by mistake. And Greeks & Persians look alike and aren't "white".

  • DO YOU SEE A MOVIE MADE ABOUT HIM RECENTLY? I DON'T THINK SO! I died a little when "Alexander" came out but "300" absolutely killed me. A movie about real Iran or the real ancient Persia wouldn't sell. Think about it have you EVER seen an American movie where Americans lose? No. you guys fucked up vietnam but the movies STILL glorify Americans. Gag me with a spoon, this is total propaganda. the Greeks are suppose to represend America because of democracy.

  • @Xexillia oh and we don't look-alike persians :)

  • @Xexillia Greeks back then had individual city-states and they often fight each other BUT in some difficult circumstances (an invader for example) they unified...(battle of plataies against the persians for example) or when alexander the great start his campaign he was followed by all greek cities except Sparta...

  • persians+greeks look alike and rnt white?! well, persians rnt white ofc they r asians, greeks r ofc white they r europeans...u can come to athens where I live and ill show u yr illegal muslim persians they stick out like a thumb here

  • Unfortunatly most of those idiots you made reference too come from your own country, state, neighbourhood, and you also mentioned tyranical governments. Your country is on the borderline of that also, do you actually know what happens outside your borders, or are you one of the classic references you referred too? Geeze, stupid parents giving birth to stupid kids results in youtube clips like this. This is when abortion should be enforced by the community to weed these idiots out

  • You are very smart and not to mention cute but I disagree with what you said. Clearly, there were many theatrical exaggerations, but it's a movie, has to fit a certain time format, be entertaining (thus profitable). Iran *does* care about it's Persian heritage. In fact the name Iran is relatively new and less than a century ago (1935) it was still called Persia (post Ottomon Empire). The language they speak is Parsi (bastardized as Farsi by Arabs who have no letter p) with a distinct vocabulary.

  • @Westonci

-Persians were not Muslims at that time.

-Arabs did not join this war.

    - Get your facts right.

    thanks

  • Persians defeated the greeks over 3 times

  • fuck persians, the greeks had to defend europe from arabs persians and muslims

if it wasnt for us greeks europe would be muslim or persian

  • I am Persian and I was hurt by the movie...

Persians were first to formulate the human rights...

They did the least destruction at their time.

Iranian government is doing worse to its people than Imperialist powers... They have way too much blood on their hand...

  • Iranian govermant is vaer mutch loved

    fuck all haters
