@tuxedosponge I was wondering about this myself. A dictum is a point of view that is taken to be authoritative. A rigid dictum must be one that is especially restricting. Much like the disapproval Dana Marschz receives from the community regarding his play. And of course there's the double entendre of a rigid dictum sounding like an erect penis. But you probably got that part.
