  • We are working it!

  • This is South Beach. Go to Sunny Isles or Aventura if you want. This is what is South Beach, period.

    Best regards.

  • On mark!

  • South Beach is a beautiful area to live. City Council members must preserve the historic value. Property values will definitely increase. Keep South of Fifth a residential community.

  • Our new resident friendly council passed the ordinance and are doing it!

  • Good luck! In 1988 our city council overruled a vote of 98% against an assesment to our neighbothood. In essence doubling our prop. taxes until 2013. I hope your outcome is better. This happened in California.

  • Thanks!

    It passed!

  • Selfish hypocrites! The tail IS wagging the dog. The tail is SOFNA, full of people who can't afford to live on Palm, Hibiscus or Sunset Islands, but because of their socio-economic profiles, must live South of 5th because that's where the Cosmo & Courts are. Funny, you don't want to live in the actual deco district, where the bartenders live, but the REASON you live in South Beach is the $800million DOG - the youthful restaurants & bars & nightlife. Move to the Gables, hypocrites.

  • If you guys don't like noise or nightlife, move to Golden Beach. I seriously doubt you'd like South Beach to return to the way it was in the '80s, which means you'll have to put up with the nightlife. Get rid of the nightlife and your places will be worth squat; because that's why people move there.

  • That hits it!
