20 seat majority and what do they do... spend spend spend...and put us into massive debt.. so much so 10 years (1987) later i was forced to emigrate to find a decent job ..thanks indeed Jack/Haughey thanks a bunch !

@austinwrk Don't blame JL or CH. I wouldn't expect much from the likes of them. Blame the idiots who voted FF, over and over again. Even now, with the country in ruins, FF can expect about 20% support in the upcoming election. Who are these people, and just what do FF have to do, to lose their support? Murder a relative?

I agree he did a lot of wasteful things but
if he didn't get Ireland to join the E.U god knows what we would be like now

Jack Lynch destroyed the country with his promises..it took 10years to fix what he and the rest of FF did!
