  • Well known phenomenon among electrical engineers. The spinning magnet induces current in the disk which creates another magnetic field. The two magnetic fields interact to exert torque on the disk. Please see my famous video ''Squirrel-Cage Rotor''

  • it a magnetic torque converter!!!...lol

  • Cool !

  • Terrific,,,,,so now when my alternator fails,,,I crash?!

  • Yes it is correct: magnetic brakes! Like Supermagnet Braking system - Working, watch?v=Bkbdm66UQis

    see you

  • u mean disc brake that stops by using only this concept? magnetic brake?

  • This is nothing new,how do you think the old type of car speedometer works?I uses a magnet that spins, driven via a gearbox and cable from the road wheel, the spining magnet draws a plate connected to the needle the faster the magnet goes the further the needle plate turns indicating higher the higher speed.

  • Hello, if approaching the drill off while the disk is rotating the same disc brakes. How beautiful disc brakes for cars that do not ruin for friction, and not issuing ferodo. Congratulations.
